Couldn't recommend Seal's Carpentry enough. Szilard did a great job on our hallway/stairs panelling, he was incredibly diligent & hardworking. He made sure everything was done to the highest standard and regularly checked in with us to make sure we were happy along the way. He was very reliable, sticking to the original date we agreed and returning until the job was completed. We have already booked him for our next job.Szilard has been fantastic. From his first visit to give a quotation to the end result he has been consistently great. For the quotation for bespoke bookshelves, he listened hard to our requirements making any necessary adjustments but explaining these. He arrived on time and quickly got back to us with the quotation. As he is friendly, humorous and easy to get on with this has made the time he spent working very pleasant. His communication and punctuality are excellent.Even when he had to work around my husband 's night shifts he was flexible and kept all "disruption" to a bare minimum. He checked on things as he went along in terms of decisions I had to make.
He left the place absolutely immaculate each day.
I added some minor bits on but otherwise he came in at the price he originally quoted.
He's done an excellent job with which we are extremely satisfied. I am delighted to have the book "nook" I have always dreamed of .

Seal did this work for me with great skill and diligence. He was communicative throughout, ensuring that we were on the same page concerning all the small details.
The finished product is superb and looks as though it should have been built into the ensuite alcove when the house was originally completed.

Szilard has done a fantastic job building us some cabinets and matching in some shelves. We love them! He always asked what we preferred when there were options, was super tidy and professional. A really high standard of work and a really nice chap. Would definitely ask him to do any further work and would highly recommend him to others.
Szilard built the bedroom fitted-wardrobe for us. His carpentry work is excellent. The finished product was absolutely perfect. He is very professional and also patient with our request. Communication was also prompt and polite. He tidied up the space himself after work. I highly recommend him to others and I would ask him again if I want to change anything in our house in the future.
I’m really impressed by Szilard, he fixed something for me when I thought I needed a new one, costing me substantially less than I thought. He’s friendly, professional and the work is of a high standard

We wanted a storage area built at the back of our garden cabin but decided to get a carpenter to build as there were no right angles anywhere and we wanted 6 doors on the front three of which we had already bought. Szilard created exactly what we wanted and the result is fantastic. He is a very skilled carpenter and will always find a solution to every problem. We really appreciated that he always asked us what we wanted at each point to make sure he was building exactly what we had in mind. Szilard has just finished installing floating shelves, wall panelling and floor boards for us. His work is of the highest standard. An old house, there was not one straight line or properly square corner for him to work with but he worked meticulously and with infinite patience to ensure that every piece of wood fitted precisely. We are delighted with the finished work. He was reliable, incredibly polite, good at communicating and very respectful of our home and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to others.Szilard really cares about his work. I've had plenty of tradespeople who come in and know what they want to do and what's easiest for them but Szilard went out of his way to make sure that my shelves were how I wanted them even if it made life more challenging for him. He's prompt, tidy and a generally nice bloke.
Szilard's work is craftsmanship at its best. He is extremely creative and dedicated to get even the finest details right. He built the most wonderful bookshelf and a secret bookcase door for my daughter's room. His dedication to his work and work ethic are admirable. He doesn't cut corners. I would highly recommend him.
I contacted Szilard after reading all the fantastic reviews here. He was quick to reply and easy to communicate with. The work he did for me - building eaves cupboards in an old house with no straight walls- was meticulous. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Szilard has done excellent work building us a fireplace in the livingroom. He was always bright and early and a very cheerful guy to talk to. He worked methodically and always tidied up after himself and we found him so helpful and knowledgeable. We are going to use him again for our wardrobes. highly recommend his workmanship & will post photos once my fireplace is complete.
Seal has just build in two wardrobes for us. Our house has no straight walls, floors or ceilings it turns out so it wasn't a straightforward job. Seal has made a beautiful job of the wardrobes - I couldn't be happier with them - they are a joy. Seal was so considerate and tidy and I had total trust in him throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again.
Loving our new internal doors. Had a bad experience with Leader Doors Customer Service but Szilard saved the day and took away all the stress. An amazing job done , really impressed with Szilard's workmanship and attention to detail. Would highly recommend his services.
Szilard's work is fantastic. He is always prompt with quotes and tries to save you money by offering different options. He arrived to work every day on time, was super tidy and generally lovely/ helpful/ polite. I would absolutely recommend him to friends and I will certainly ask him to carry out work for me again in the future if I need a good carpenter.
